NBA 2K27 HWID Ban: What It Is and What a Spoofer Does
What an HWID ban is, what a spoofer actually changes and what to confirm about compatibility before you buy one.
If you have seen the term HWID ban and are not sure what it means, this guide explains it plainly, including what a spoofer does and what to check before buying one.
What HWID means
HWID stands for hardware ID. It is a set of identifiers tied to the parts of your PC, such as disk serials, MAC addresses and GPU IDs.
What a hardware ban is
Some enforcement actions are applied to the hardware as well as the account. In that case, making a new account on the same PC may not solve the problem, because the hardware identifiers are still the same.
What a spoofer does
According to the vendor, a spoofer changes those identifiers, including disk serials, MAC addresses and GPU IDs, to give the system a clean slate. The NBA 2K27 feature checklist lists a spoofer module, and a standalone HWID spoofer is sold separately.
Check compatibility before you buy
Compatibility depends on the game and its anti-cheat, so check the spoofer’s current game list. Its page also notes that Cloud DMA is required for full functionality, so factor that into your decision. Do not assume it covers every title.
Price and plans
At the time of writing, the standalone spoofer is listed at $15 for one week and $35 for one month. Check the page for current prices.
What a spoofer does not do
A spoofer is not a guarantee. It does not change a game’s rules, it does not reverse an account ban, and results depend on the game and the setup. Prevention is cheaper than a fix. Read our guide on ban risk in NBA 2K27 before you decide
